Stkittstheatre.com is looking for volunteers!
There are a couple projects coming up that we would like to open up to volunteers. In going with the website's philosophy of being inclusive with community projects, we are hoping to ensure that everyone from the St.Catharines area feels that they have a way of being involved.
Projects:
* Videographer - Video tours of the performance spaces in St.Catharines. Ideally, the applicant would have a camera and the means to edit the project. The vision: to provide visitors of stkittstheatre.com footage of various acting spaces here in the city in an effort to help artists find space for their projects. The information to go along with the "virtual tour" would be things like rental costs, size, owner, contact information and availability.
* Event Coordinator - Website launch party. We would like to host some kind of party to celebrate the launch of this website. An evening for the artists from different companies to meet and mingle; as well as a chance to the community to come out and meet the theatre scene. The event could be a fundraiser; but all funds would go to a local St.Catharines charity.
If you feel that you would like to be involved with either of these projects, please contact us via email or through the contact us page above. If you are looking for another way to be involved with stkittstheatre.com, suggestions and ideas for more projects are always welcome!
